Clean up artwork before you print or send it out for a die. Drop the background to transparent, flatten everything to solid black for foil, white ink, or a letterpress die (like Boxcar Press), and vectorize to SVG when a die maker needs paths instead of pixels.
PNG, JPG, or PDF. For a die, start with the highest-resolution, highest-contrast version you have — a vector PDF is ideal. Multi-page PDFs preview page 1; the same settings apply to every page when you download all.
Keys out the background color (sampled from the top-left corner of your image) plus any near-white pixels, so the art sits cleanly on paper.
Turns every visible pixel solid black on a transparent background — no CMY values, exactly what a foil, white-ink, or letterpress die needs. Use after removing the background.
Traces the flattened black shape into SVG paths — useful when a die maker wants vector art instead of a bitmap. Works best on bold, simple shapes: monograms, gift tags, ex libris marks, small icons. Turn on Flatten to Black first.
